Life Refuge.

Life is throwing things at us, here is a refuge to talk about random things life has thrown.

I'll start I guess...
So yesterday afternoon, as my bus pulled out of the school parking lot, a smile suddenly lit my face, for some reason I was very happy. When I got home my mood stayed high and joyful for awhile, and nothing seemed to be able to bring me down. But then it all went south, when the amount of things that normally stress me started to pile up way to fast. Then my mood went sour, and everything, including the things that usually make me happy, made me angry. I couldn't understand why everything seemed to be going wrong until later, when I thought about life, and realised that life does this on purpose. Once I realised this, I thought of how others all around the world are experiencing the same problem, and that is why I decided to create this forum.
So, in effect, life's attempting to make misery has inspired me to make joy. take that life!

I am instantly reminded of the Lemon rant Cave Johnson does from Portal 2
Lemon rant ^_^

I keep having to go through things like that to try and get my mood back up. My mom was diagnosed with cancer a few months back. I haven't taken to it well, and have had to be put on meds to curve the worst of it. Stress so bad you get migraines almost daily...no thanks. The ante got upped due to the doctors constantly ignoring what both my mom and I have talked with the about, to the point my Mom was unable to eat. She was so weak that she suspended her chemo treatment till she could eat again. This brought in Hospice...with in 24hrs of them taking over all the crap we had been fighting with the doctors about had been fixed and taken care of. My Mom is finally showing signs of having hope again. But we were still told that if she doesn't get back on chemo she will have 3-6mo left. I am still hoping and staying positive that with the care and respect that we are shown from Hospice will create the support and foundation my mom needs to be better able to fight this and put it in remission.

Then there is of course all the rest of the every day stresses. Work, My little chibi, taking care of the house chores, the garden. Realizing that I still haven't learned the secret Mom art of multitasking, especially the "simple" task of cleaning and still being able to keep and eye on the chibi that will get into everything in a blink of an eye.

With all this going on there are times I find my friend's troubles trivial. I try not to be cruel about it, but sometimes I'm in one of my more pessimistic moods and so can't always keep the bite out of my words. Ergo I tend to either me playing games online or reading a book. ^^

Oh dear, that is horrible, I will hope for your mother. and my problems definitely seem trivial compared to yours.

As I said I don't mean to be mean about who has it worse. We all have issues that will encompass our whole world and make it seem like there isn't a light at the end, and it is subjective. So your issues are just as real and important to you as mine are to me.

So please don't think I'm being mean, just so much going on ^^ and thank you for my mom.
